If you're old (like me) If you enjoy a sense of heritage and freedom (like me) I'd like to invite you to view the following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7S7uO-7beQ I've done so many jumps, filmed so many skydives, edited/produced so many videos, sometimes I just get weary. But, it's jumps like these, and videos like these that make my heart swell. THANK YOU to Larry Hill. Thank you Skydive Arizona for the special second-pass just for us. Thank you pilot Doug for helping us make it happen. Thank you to Joe and Selena for their skydiving help. And especially, thank you Stephanie for inviting me along on your special jump. It's so nice to be part of something meaningful. John

NWFlyer 2 #17 December 18, 2008 Beautiful editing to capture what must have been a beautiful experience."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. monkycndo 0 #20 December 20, 2008 John, I've watched it a couple times. I still get choked up. I have family that were in WWII. A very nice tribute to one how stepped up when the call to duty was sounded. Well done. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. heiditwobraids 0 #21 December 31, 2008 Thank you all for all of your kind words. My Grandfather would have appreciated the tribute, even though he didn't want a service after he passed away. John, Selena, Joe, Doug, David, and Skydive AZ - Thank you for everything. The Lancaster was his pride and joy, and now he is truly in the sky where he wants to be. John everyone in my family has immensely enjoyed this video. Thank you.
nomal2day 0 #22 December 31, 2008 That was very special. Thank you!'To fly is heaven, to freefall is divine' 'You only need 2 tools. WD40 for when it doesn't move but should, and duct tape for when it moves but shouldn't'
fergs 0 #23 January 5, 2009 Thanks Heidi, A very nice tribute. My dad was a pilot with Bomber Command - RAAF, 466 sqdn, flying Halifax. He doesn't talk much about it and so we can deduce that they all had a pretty bad time of it all. Funny thing is that he has spoken to my kids about his wartime experiences, allowing the sacred information to flow down, albeit skipping a full generation. So continue to be proud of your grandpa. It was their finest hour. Cheers and Blue Skies, fergs
novacaine 0 #24 January 6, 2009 Jonh, thanks for this wonderful video. My Grandfather was a RAF Navigator and flew also in the Lancaster. He neer spoke much of the war, though after his death in 2002, I recieved his journals of his time of service. This video brought tear! Thank You!
