Hooknswoop 19 #1 April 5, 2005 http://www.roadid.com/ I ordered the wrist version. Not a bad idea for skydiving. The wrist mount wasn't the greatest, so I made myself a better one. It wouldn't be hard to attach to a wrist altimeter or just wear on the other wrist. Since few people jump w/ ID and medical information actually on them, this would at least provide basic contact/allergy/ID/medical info/etc. Up to 6 lines of text, 23 character spaces per line. slotperfect 7 #3 April 5, 2005 I made my own ID for long runs - a Brother P-Touch with my name, blood type, NKDA, and emergency contact number. I just wrap it around the horizontal end of my shoelace. I suppose onje could do the same with their skydiving skips. NKDA = "No Known Drug Allergies"Arrive Safely John
JohnRich 4 #4 April 5, 2005 Gosh, I had never really thought of this before for skydiving, and I should have. I have a dog-tag on my hiking backpack, so that when I'm out hiking, if I fall off a cliff or something, rescuers will know who I am and my blood type. But I don't have anything like this for my skydiving gear. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have it in a jumpsuit pocket, where EMT's could find it, in case you someday are found hurt, and unconscious. Great idea!
kelpdiver 2 #5 April 5, 2005 I wear the necklace version, particularly if I'm at a place where fewer know me. Due to space limitations, I actually have a web url on it that lists my emergency contacts and insurance info. I'll need to think about the chain used. Is the classic steel ball, was going to go to silver.
