I wear regular tennis shoes and they seem to work pretty well....unless a shoelace breaks at 11500 managed not to lose the shoe tho.

I was going to mention that you could get advice from the CRW guys. They always have 10 or 12 shoes in the trunk of their cars.

I have different pairs of sneakers and sports shoes.
Last years shoes get rotated into skydiving shoes.

I don't want to lose shoes that I may miss because of the value.

Only thing I could think, is that if they have plastic in the back of the shoe where your foot goes in, that plastic might come out and it could hurt. I like vans except for that (i wore out all the plastic where the foot goes in.)
