madhatter 0 #51 August 14, 2008 9 years. I'd actually been on a leave from the sport for 2.5 years when Graham Hoal died. He was one of my first instructors & a good friend. His death reminded me of my passion for skydiving & living life to the full...A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! D.S #

The survivor was under line twist, the deceased thought to be unconscious before impact, so probably still medical related. 3) Swooping accident
BillyMongilly 0 #53 August 15, 2008 I started jumping in 1977 and have been to several boogies and I have yet to witness anyone's death. (knocking on wood) Worst thing I saw was someone at the World Skydiving Convention (the first one with the Roger Nelson 727) swoop into the side of a van. He moved the van about a foot and coughed up a little blood, but he was allright after some observation at a local hospital. How high are we going? Oh about 9000. Oh Mr. Pilot! How high are we going? Oh about 12000! That's the ticket!
