If you watch to the end of the vid & read the description, he didn't catch his cut away, it was still attached to his foot. I think what he passes by under canopy was the reserve pilot chute and freebag.

He didn't catch the canopy. He never had a clean break away. The jumper explains that his leg was wrapped in suspension lines, hook knife broke fighting the malfunction, deployed his reserve, and was unable to clear the entanglement around his leg.

This is just another example of why Mr Bill jumps are...a bad idea.
