Bill Wood of the Flying Tigers and Chester drop zones in South Carolina made his jump #2500 at the Chester DZ on Sunday. Bill is 75 years old and is Top JOS #1 (Jumpers Over Seventy). ESPN may air the jump on Tuesday or Wednesday (that is the best they could tell us). Quincy Kennedy and I shot video.

Say Hi and Congartulations from me. I packed his canopy a couple of times during the POPS Worldmeet in Switzerland 2 years ago. He also signed my logbook and wrote me a kind message.

I think besides tandems, his canopy is the biggest I ever packed.. Never too safe

I still have an old jump suit with a "Flying Tigers" patch on the knee that he gave me 19 years ago when he was Top Pop! Congrats to you Bill!

Better late than never !!! That was two years ago. Bill has been jumping in Australia this month. I just hope to be able to continue to be active the way he has.

Congrats to Bill!

I did 2 jumps with him at Citrusdal, SA, in March '98. Hard to believe 10 years have passed & great to know he's still enjoying the sport!

Bill is such a sweet man. I've met him several times during my travels to Chester. What a great man with lots of great stories.
