AggieDave 6 #8 May 10, 2008 Biggest in terms of what? Land, aircraft, facilities? Busiest in terms of what? Amount of slots flown, loads flown, teams, tandems? The busiest DZ you can find is a 182 DZ with 1 tandem instructor, two tandem rigs, one packer and 20 tandems in one day. Good luck getting a 4-way in the air. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

The last numbers I saw are a few years old, but as I recall, Eloy did something like 120K jumps a year, Empuria 100K, and Perris about the same amount, maybe a little less. This may have changed in the past couple years. Chicago: I would say they are no where close since they arent a full year operation. Lodi: no idea, but I dont think its the same scale.Remster
sagan 0 #11 May 13, 2008 Is Perris allowed to annex Lake Elsinore for the jump count? Ready, set, discuss! JUST KIDDING!!! (yes I expect to get flames for this one) -Patrick
