ZeG 0 #1 December 2, 2007 How common is it for students, that they need to repeat a level? I kinda screwed up my diveflow on IAF4 and instructor pulled for me.. Canopy flight/landing was good (landing on feet without problem). But it was obviously a fail (knew that even befor instr. told me). Am I just being too clumsy with stabilizing? Was pretty anxious too and mixed up the order of the diveflow. That normal beginner problems, or am I the exception to the rule that needs longer then other students? AggieDave 6 #2 December 2, 2007 Many students repeat one or more of the dives. Don't worry about it, get with your instructor(s) and work on what you need to work on. Go skydive and smile.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
ZeG 0 #3 February 5, 2008 YES, I finally graduated on my 12th Jump. Funny thing is I went through the last four levels on one day and performed alot better. The first two solo exits were so much fun!! Now I am just a bit nervous about my first complete solo jump lol. But well it keeps you awake and cautious i guess
blackout 0 #4 February 5, 2008 I graduated on jump #10 then did high and low solo and my first coach jump in the same day. Doing more in one day at a beginner level seems to make each one that much more easy
ZeG 0 #5 February 5, 2008 Yeah that helped alot. And even though they suggested I shouldn´t "waste" any solojumps and always should work on certain skills, I think on my next jump, which will be my first solo without anyone else hovering around, I will just hop out and enjoy the freefall. Maybe a few turns a bit of tracking, but nothing fancy. Just hanging around and enjoying the view (while keeping alt. awareness of course. I made THAT mistake on IAF4....).
