I know that there is probably a billion students posting their videos everyday, and it's probably a chore to have to read through these posts, but, here is my video. http://youtube.com/watch?v=lBVBnSGMjJ4 If there is anything that the more experienced skydivers can see that could of improved this jump, let me know. Instructors are busy with multiple students so hang around and talk to them after hours if you want more info than you got in your debrief. moto89 0 #3 January 8, 2008 The only advice will give you is this: listen to your instructors, they know you infinitely better than anyone on the internet does. Have fun, and smile, skydiving is fun, keep it that way. Remember to crawl, walk, then run... there is no reason to take things any faster than you should. I think you will gain respect from the more experienced jumpers at your DZ by keeping a level head and not getting ahead of yourself. AFF is so easy, if you don't make it harder than it really is.... Just keep going out and having fun, and your instructors will see an awesome student.... bodypilot1 0 #7 January 8, 2008 Nice job for your first jump. Here are a critiques from an AFFI. Exit didn't look rushed, good check in's, but it looks like you may have messed up on the count alittle. Not a bad arch on exit either. Good alti checks, but stop geeking the camera and deal with the tasks you need to complete. Not bad leg position, you could point your toes and work on keep your leg more still. Also work on keeping your right knee from dropping when you do your practice touch and pull. Try not to look at the ground directly below you while in freefall. It makes you de-arch. Besides, you'll have plenty of time for that under canopy. Looks like you have good altitude awareness, but your next jumps will require alot more of your attention, so stop geeking the camera...
