bigway 4 #5 December 22, 2007 After watching that clip, it just seems like a standard AFF/tandem factory video. You will find a lot of good stuff on Daves site. Enjoy. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
minmal 0 #6 December 22, 2007 ok i signed up and was greeted with one of the worse quality websites i have seen you tube is much easier to use but i am sure that it has some awesome content on it and will be downloading plenty of megs from there but at the end of the day this clip still stands out to me as the best i have seen at this time and when i finish sifting through your site i believe i wont change my mind after watching hours of you tube aff clips and finding this one
bigway 4 #7 December 22, 2007 Good on you mate. Skydivingmovies.com is run by a member of this website and everyone on this site as well as the more well known jumpers contribute their clips to skydivingmovies.com If you consider the link you showed to be a quality aff video then that is good you feel that way and i wish you all the best. The clip you watched is a 'standard' factory video that is far from original. All over New Zealand and Australia their are hundreds of tourists at tens of dropzones who do their AFF or tandem jumps and that video you have shown us is the standard quality that you get from these places. I am not saying the cameraman does not have skills but what i am saying is that video is an example of a 'work' video and that camera man probably does around 10-20 'work' videos every day at Byron Bay and every single video will be exactly the same but with a different customer. That is a work video and is far from original and the end result is a repeatitive video that he keeps the same due to routine. Take what i say however you want, however when you start saying dissrespecting other skydivers websites who work their ass and their own money off to provide the community with a free website for us all to use and share our clips then you are out of line. So what if it is not a good a site as multi billion dollar corporations site, it does however have videos that are worth peoples lives on them. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . jdunbar 0 #8 December 22, 2007 Be honest with me, are you trying to be deliberately divisive? You tube is low res and streaming, on skydivingmovies.com you can download high res files encoded with excellent codecs. Either you are trying to make some strange point or you are a teenager. Maybe both?
minmal 0 #9 December 22, 2007 no its easier for me to watch the movies is all its no were near as easy to surf as you tube i said i will be downloading many very awesome vids from there and why is there all this you tube hate all i am saying is this is the best aff vid i have seen i have only ever been able to find aff vids there
samanthacullen 0 #10 December 22, 2007 its not about you tube hate....people just get a little upset when they feel that their pride and joy (this being the videos created with a lot of hard work and enjoyed by like minded people) is being disrespected. im sure you tube is great for vids and you know it well - therefore you find it easy to use. Im sure if you give skydivingmovies a chance you'll find its just as easy but with a lot more to offer you in terms of the sport. remember that this is a sport that a lot of people dedicate their entire lives to, and with that comes a fierce protection of the things they (we) love. blue skies
bigway 4 #11 December 22, 2007 MAte, i aint got a problem with youtube or yourself. I noticed you are new to skydiving and am just trying to open your eyes up a bit to the video you say that is so great when really it is just a work video from one of the most commercial dropzones on the planet.. Sure you may continue to think it is one of the best around and i was just trying to tell you a bit about how it is nothing special and more like a video that has come off the production line, I am also sure the cameraman would probably agree seeing as he makes about 20 replica videos a day. I am not disrespecting his skill level just commenting on the commercial aspect of it. If what i have said has not changed your opinion and i imagine it has not i can guarantee you once you have a coupld of hundred jumps under your belt and put a camera on your head that you will look back and realise how there is nothing to set it apart from every other AFF/Tandem video that tandem factories produce. Please do realise that skydivingmovies.com is the greatest skydiving movie site out there and nobody gives a shit about how easy it is to navigate as it has millions of dollars worth of jumping on it and also has the biggest database of skydiving movies on the planet. it is also run and maintained by a big contributor to this website. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
