Graduated AFP! with broken altimeter

Recommended Posts

So, after a two month hiatus from skydiving (girlfriend, school, lack of time, lack of money etc) I finally went and did my level seven today. My altimeter had been rolling around in my bookbag and when I put it on today I noticed that the faceplate had shifted ever so slighted but I didn't think anything of it. Also, the rig which I normally jump wasn't available so I got to jump rig #13
on my 13th jump:P. Everything was going good tracking and what not and my i did the signal for alti check which i did, then he made me check it again, it was around 6500, so I look at him. then he did the pull signal and I got the message. He said I pulled at around 3700. When I landed it was at 2500 feet. The first question my instructor asked me when I landed was "Is your altimeter broken:P?" It was also my first jump out of a 182 (the otter was being loaded up for xkeys invasion). Now for the important question; How many cases of beer exactly do I owe??

Peace, and Blue skys!

Hmm... ...let's be creative:

1st case: First jump in two months
2nd case: First jump with a broken altimeter
3rd case: First jump from a 182
4th case: First jump with rig #13
5th case?: First time having your instructor tell you to pull??

There.. ...5 cases. Make everyone happy and get some chips or pretzels to go with the beer:)
Oh, and congrats on passing level 7.

You've been ill advised on beer rules. No matter how many "firsts" occur on a single jump the max owed on that jump is a case. If this is the first time you've been wrong about beer rules you may owe a case yourself. B|

Congrats, sovietskee!
