For routine jumps, what do you carry when skyding to help you handle problems on the ground after landing?

My phone is too important to lose during a jump or damage on landing. I still take it with me at SDC or when I know I may land off though.

When do you KNOW you won't land off?

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

It's like going to a desert island retreat and taking a laptop.

If i misjudge the jump so badly that i land off-off then i deserve the walk and it'd probably be fun anyway.

At our DZ, if u land so far off you need a phone, a compass, ID etc. you are either flattened against craggy mountainside or drowning in a very deep, very cold lake.:P
