popsjumper 2 #27 September 22, 2007 Quote How's my ad? http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=50983;d=1 I hope that's not your home address in there. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
jellob 0 #28 September 22, 2007 Not only is the ad perfect, but the necklaces are beautiful and everything you advertised! So, yes, some people advertising on DZ.com should take a lesson from airathanas. I have sent several PMs to other sellers regarding used gear and only once did I receive an email that the item was already sold. Really annoying. DSE 5 #30 September 28, 2007 Here's another for ya Strat.. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=53878;d=1 No size, model #, color, etc. Different ad, different person, same thing. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=53856;d=1 Maybe it has something to do with the brand name? Andy9o8 2 #31 September 28, 2007 The "dumbass factor" is universal. Here's some moral support, since it's fresh on my mind. Right now my kid is shopping for a used car, in the classifieds, Craigslist, etc. You'd be amazed how many ads leave out one minor little detail: how many miles are on the car. I mean, duh. AnKaLi 0 #32 September 28, 2007 people leave the mileage off on cars on purpose...its usually an indicator of high mileage!
Ether 0 #33 September 29, 2007 Sigh, it's really frustrating using the classifieds. I've had a wanted ad posted for most of the season, and have gotten lots of responses from people wanting me to buy their Stilleto 135, Manta 290, or 20 year old rounds. And think that $5000 is a reasonable asking price...Looking for newbie rig, all components...
Zep 0 #34 September 29, 2007 Quote and get a damn paypal account already its not that hard! Please bear in mind the classified ad's here are world wide an not all countries can create a Paypal account. For example, I sold an AAD to a Rumanian guy and I was asking for payment via Paypal but he could'nt comply, so in the end I opened a bank account just for that transaction an we were both happy with the results.
