RALFFERS 0 #2 September 25, 2007 I've seen the first video sometime last week, in 1 of my random searches; I've been wondering what happened up there ever since... According t the youtube comments, the jumper says his legs were paralyzed before the AAD fired. But how? It doesn't look like the 2 collided, but maybe...? I saw the 2nd video quite some time ago, and although i think it's cool it's also INSANE and not worth the risk IMHO. v It would be cool to hear about it though if the jumper posts here on dizzy. sraja 0 #5 September 25, 2007 I just saw some of those and I would applaud him for being brave about his life but at the same time it makes me re-evaluate why I jump out of a plane (and the people I jump with). I have heard of another instructor who took a person on a head down jump and had a similar accident - unfortunately (or fortunately - depending on your perspective) he is no more. crotalus01 0 #7 September 25, 2007 If you watch the video very carefully you will see that there is a 3rd person flying headdown that he collides with. You see the guy in the purple jumpsuit (the guy he was coaching), then right after the collision (where everything goes to shit) you see a guy in a blue jumpsuit falling away from him headdown. There is a slow motion version of the same video on youtube that makes it easier to see what happened. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD...
