tr027 0 #26 June 22, 2005 I do it ALL the time, since I dont have DZs that are close, it saves alot in gas. Just be sure to wear a big jacket over it, and you're good to go. Over the jacket I wear a backpack where I store the helmet and the other accessories. Piece of cake."The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. EvilLurker 2 #27 June 23, 2005 I got a frameless backpack at an Eddie Bauer factory outlet store that made a perfect gear bag. It has shoulder straps, a side carry handle, a full-length zipper up the back, a drawstring top and a tie-down top flap. There's no way you could get a deployment with your rig in there. I paid $29 for it. I just looked to see if I could find an item number on it, but no joy. You might give them a try. It's been about 3 years since I bought mine. DrewEckhardt 0 #30 June 5, 2007 Quote Is it safe to Ride a Motorcycle with your rig on? I have just bought a bike and was wondering if riding to the DZ with just my rig on my back would pose a problem. Yes, the pilot chute needs to be stowed extremely well, besides that.. Givi makes a 50 liter locking top case that fits at least medium sized rigs (150 main + reserve). A gear bag on the passenger seat with a bungee net works well too. kelpdiver 2 #32 June 5, 2007 So has Cani swooped onto the back of a motorcycle yet? Makes the convertible landing look easy.

Yes, the pilot chute needs to be stowed extremely well, besides that.. What kind of a bike did you buy? I frequently carry my rig on my Roadking. I use an old OD green military laundry bag and strap it to my rear seat with a bungee net that I purchased from wally world. I carry a black garbage bag too in case it rains. Wearing the rig while riding made me feel off balance. The legstraps were an issue too. As far as using devices to secure your hackey, or stop your main from deploying...they work really good at the wrong time.
