phoenixlpr 0 #2 May 30, 2007 Do you have any problem with your landings?
ScottishJohn 25 #3 May 30, 2007 You could always decide to loose some weight. Thats what I did when I quit smoking and put on 35pounds.---------------------------------------------------------------------- If you think my attitude stinks you should smell my fingers
chaoskitty 0 #4 May 30, 2007 So your w/l on your own gear is about 1.2. I'd be surprised if your recurrency coach allows you to jump it. Your profile says Perris. Lots of good student gear to choose from. If it were me, I'd put a dozen or so jumps on (at least) a 230 and see how it goes. It would suck to break your leg on your 190 just to save the cost of rental gear.
skyrider 0 #5 May 30, 2007 Better yet, at Perris, square one has Demo canopies...(Free) be sure to have them help you hook it up! One weekends, look for Mark Brown, he can help you out with a lot of things!

I had some landing adventures just past my A at Perris/Elsinore in those conditions and wingloading.
