Perris Gets New Shark!

"Papa Victor" came up for it's 49,000 rotation maintenance need, so she got new wings and stuff. Ben and Pat also decided to step up and give her a new look too!

PV is now their newest Shark! Paint job is almost done. Still have her eyes and teeth painting to do. She's already a beauty!
Oh, and BIG news for the cameraflyer office. The handle has been relocated! No more HUGE reach to grab it. It's now where is -should- be...matching where our Gypsey's handle is. Whoo Hoo!!

They hope to have her flying -next- weekend for the 100-ways.

Piscine Vicious, Piscine Voracious - Piscine means "having to do with fish", but everyone will think you're saying "pissing".

Pilotrema Verticalus, Pristiophorus Verticalus - The initial words are two genera of sawsharks. The second words are made up in the fine tradition of some well-known nature films.

Pilotrema Vicious/Voracious, Pristiophorus Vicious/Voracious - combination of above.

Piscine Volante, Pilotrema Volante, Pristiophorus Volante - as above with the Italian word for "flying". Or 'Volare' (the infinitive 'to fly' in Latin and Italian) or 'Volaré' ('I will fly' in Spanish, but all the older jumpers will think of an old Plymouth instead.)

As a pilot, I think you'll appreciate what I think is going on there; attempting to put some sort of limit on the rear CG.

At least, that's the way I've always looked at it.
