Looking for aircraft for a Boogie

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I am with Seven Hills Skydivers in Wisconsin.
We are looking for aircraft for our annual boogie this summer around the August area, but so far have not had any luck. We are looking for an Otter but will take what we can get. If any of you have a line on something that might be able to help I would love to hear from you. Everyone seems to be booked up or is having aircraft problems of some sort.
Once we find a plane and get dates figured out I will invite everyone to come out and enjoy some fun Jumping!
I hope someone can help.

Hey I was just planning my tour and was looking at Wi. I could be there the weekend of 8-17, with Sun Path demos. Mullins wont be that far from you the weekend before, hell I will be where he is at. I could probably get you an Otter out of Texas but you may not like the ferry fee.:S

When is the boogie?

Contact Skydive Chicago, they may have an Otter they would lease. You might also want to Carolina Sky Sports, they have some Otters and Casa's in and out of Canada all summer and it might time up to be close so you can save on the ferry fee.

Like the other posters suggested, call all the big DZs - within ferry range - and ask if they can spare a large airplane for a weekend.
When you get desperate, you might even try calling large DZs a long way away.
Chances are, Skydive Arizona has leased a Twin Otter to a DZ near you for the summer, but it is slower than they would like and would gladly lease it to you for one weekend.

we have one of fayard's otters in town in july, then it's going to quebec, then i think it's going to ontario... might want to check with him on that one. if you could get in line next that would put you mid-late august.
