Peej 0 #3 April 3, 2007 isn't it called para-ski? Canopy flying with ski's on. In fact some jumpers from my DZ were just at the para-ski world champs in italy. Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
dragon2 2 #4 April 3, 2007 Paraski is a combination of slalom skiing and classic accuracy jumping onto a slope. Separate events, you do not fly your canopy with ski's on. Which to me always sounded silly But paraski has nothing to do with bladerunning etc. ciel bleu, Saskia
tomgreen 0 #5 April 20, 2007 Over in Europe they're calling it speed-flying or speed-riding. if you look for speed flying on youtube you find lots of good stuff, like speed flying down the eiger. here's a more beginner slope, although somebody died here doing this a couple of months back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGfWjY2P-A8

steve1 5 #8 April 20, 2007 A friend of mine has a limp and operation scars that run from his ankle to his hip. He got all that from competing at blade running years earlier. I love to ski, but I don't think I'd ever try this sport. It looks like a great way to get busted up bad. I don't think the sport is meant for old farts anyhow!....Steve1
