billvon 2,998 #3 October 13, 2004 It depends on the type - there are bungees and kill line collapsibles, and throwout vs pullouts. Each type is slightly different. In general, kill lines have to be cocked while pulling the apex away from the bag; they are cocked when the center load tapes are under tension. Bungees do not need to be cocked.
