koppel 4 #2 December 16, 2006 Im sorry I cant tell you anything about the actual technical side of the Soloy. I can tell you that we had one for some time at our DZ and it is the most fantastic plane for a smaller DZ if you want something that can go like the clappers. From memeory with 6 POB's it clibmed at something like a Caravan does with a full load.I like my canopy... ...it lets me down.
diablopilot 2 #3 December 16, 2006 Never seen the 206, the 207 is a pretty good performer, but you may want to investigat the difference between that and a Caravan, or PAC.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
Lastchance 0 #4 December 16, 2006 I have 75 or so jumps from a 206 and from my point of view it is a nice jump aircraft. As far as all the particulars, climb rate is not bad depending on how many jumpers in the plane. Fuel consumption I do not know. Get ahold of Skydive Montana. They could tell you all you need to know about the 206. Hope it helps. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
brentcair 0 #5 December 17, 2006 You can go to soloys website,soloy.com and get all the technical data. Last I knew those things were going for half a million. For that kind of money you can buy a good king air and some otters. Brent
