kkeenan 14 #1 October 18, 2006 Latest edition is Joao Tambor swooping through the hangar at Skydive Space Center in Titusville, Florida. Filming is going on this week. The plan is for him to swoop south-to-north, in one end and out the other. Joao is a hell of a swooper. It should make for some great footage. What could possibly go wrong. Remster 30 #2 October 18, 2006 No offence to the guys who come up with the ideas for these stunts, but, they need to come up with new ones....Remster

Can't think of anything that hasn't already been done... Say... jumping naked into a prison yard full of inmates? Oh, wait... that's something for the stars of Jack Ass part 3 to do... bigway 4 #8 October 18, 2006 Awesome these guys getting all these stunts on television and i love how they put the science behind it. Non skydivers and couch potatoes getting to see that there is more to it than they would normally think .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
bigway 4 #9 October 18, 2006 Had all the other stunts on this show already been done as well? I thought the others i had watched such as the motorbike over heli world record and the shark cage were first timers. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

I thought the others i had watched such as the motorbike over heli world record and the shark cage were first timers. Gasson's plane to plane wasnt new. Nor was Luigi's landing a canopy in a car. Its cool that the stunts and jumpers get major exposure like this, but, new stunts would be more interesting for us (tho most wuffos wont know any different).Remster
bigway 4 #14 October 18, 2006 I did not see those episodes, i only get to see what i can D/L. You are right though with frontmen like Eli and Jeb you would think they would be showing us some stuff we have not seen though i do understand they would have to get the go ahead from above. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . Thanatos340 1 #16 October 18, 2006 QuoteIts all fun and games until somebody dies. Tim is still alive and kickin. I wonder if they could talk Tim into trying it again for Stunt Junkies this year. Would be a great show with the Video of the last attempt played over and over as they built up to the new attempt. He almost made it last time.

I happy that he's made a full recovery. Im happy to have those that push the envelope. We would never have the insight and technology we do today with those that pioneer the way. Some people have to take those risks. I proud to be part of a group of people whow push the limits of physical endurance, technology, and performance. Lord knows I'm in the upper percentile of those who are at risk for an error. IMHO, lets err on the side of caution once in a while. I know I've lost enough friends this year. Some of which 'almost' made it. SkymonkeyONE 4 #20 October 19, 2006 There have been many, many people who have swooped through hangars. I would hope very-much that the show does not portray Joao as being the "first" to accomplish this (as is the style of that show). Ugh. Chuck
Kimsdu 0 #22 October 20, 2006 I hope they do not portray him as the first person either. That honor goes to Rickster Powell who has done it many times before..... On a Stiletto. Its on the movie Travelling which i think is over 10 years old but he was doing it well before that.

Cut to a few clips of people breaking themselves and the proper level of 'xtreme' will be accomplished. I'm just hoping we get to see Eli ask how swooping works. I really don't know what I'm talking about.
