Best Cessna launch for a "Track the Cat"

Recommended Posts

Front of the cat goes out as far as possible holding onto the strut, the others go out taking a leg grip with their right hand and hold the strut with their left...the tail could dive from the door holding both grips or also be out ..as soon as you leave the two other grips are picked up with the left hands....I'm sure there are other ways people have tried but this has worked for me in the past.

You can add one thing if you plane doesnt have a flap gap kit . Ask your pilot to give you 10 degrees flaps that way you can have you first guy at the strur root and reach for the flaps too . your second guy can hold on left handed to the strut and point guy t all facing out third guy the same fourth can get one foot on the step. get grips and signal the go up the line . It can also be used to launch a diamond with right guy gripped left foot on andright hand on the flap.Left guy gripped right foot on the step left hand in the strut . last one picks both grips signals go Its fun to dive it out barrel roll and loop it .You can even cheat and have the pilot drop the right wing on your count.

I am now editing a few hours later once the point gets the strut and the flap the two and three guys can drop their strut grip and pick up the leg quickly and go.. Ask how to roll a four way tube of the step sometime

O.K.

Thanks for the tips. I like Murrays way the best.

Mr. Brant,
Wagon Wheel?

have fun!!

A tube off the step...here's how I've done it..

(Everybody faces the tail)

First person out sits in the V
Second person out sits on the step and grips the legs of the person in the V
Third person out sits in the person in the V's lap, person in the V grips #3's legs
4th person out somehow steps across while #3 gets grips on his legs and #4 grips the person on the step's (#2) legs...

Roll it forward...we found that you want to keep your arms stiff to push the person in front of you away and give the formation some stiffness.

have you taken off a 4-way donut? That was always my favourite.

Have I taken off a donut?

Nope, please advise.

As for the tube, I'm having a hard time visualizing #4's part! Is yoga required?

No...it's easier to do than describe ;)

Donut...1st out is on the step facing forward,
2nd out in the V, 1st out takes a donut grip on V's left leg with his left hand,
3rd person out has the back of the door frame with his right hand, reaches across to the #1's left leg an picks up the grip,
last person can launch from partway out the door...he reaches forward and grips #3's left leg with his left hand while the person in the V grips his left leg with his left hand...

Ready set go!

I love the #3 slot.
