somethinelse 0 #27 August 23, 2004 Grue, Did you have more luck with your flaring on your last jumps??? I DID! I took MikeTJumps' advice about the 3 second flare, and also the equaldistant from lines to canopy as feet to ground rule to flare this weekend... Also looked around to gauge height to landmarks in the landing area, too. YEE-HA! Had a wonderfully NICE soft landing and STOOD IT up on my toes too! This is only my second stand up landing.
