600 jumps/24 HR's!!!!!!

I'm headed for Greensburg tomorrow to be part of the flight crew for this gig. I don't have any doubts that Jay Stokes can do 600 leaps in 24 hours ... the man is cast iron. I only hope us pilots and airplanes can keep up with him. On the last attempt, it was aircraft problems that caused the biggest delays.

Wrong, it was a Marine that attacked one of the planes and broke it. The plane was just minding its own business and pow.

I was honored to have Jay as my IE. He is one of the best human beings I've ever met and the only person I have no doubts can do 600 jumps in 24 hours. He's like a machine. Go Jay!

Let me chime in about the kind of person Jay is.
After my accident in 96 I let my tandem rating expire.
After recovering enough to begin skydiving again I began doing tandems also. RWS found out about me and asked me to get recertified. Jay was the TM/IE for my area....on his way home from a course in N Cal....he went out of his way....came to my home, chewed my ass out and helped me get legal again.
He didnt have to do any of this....he did it because hes a good guy. Hes a hero in my book.
