cguest4 0 #2 August 16, 2006 Try it and you'll find out! Severe pain - the blockage prevents the pressure in your ears from equalising causing agony. The effects can be pretty severe, such as perforating your eardrum. I have got away with it with mildy blocked ears/nose with only minor discomfort. If I have any symptoms I take decongestants, but if it's bad I don't jump. Caroline Bodyflight Storm www.bodyflight.co.uk
AntonKC 0 #3 August 16, 2006 Ah, ok, so if you have mild symptoms you can take decongestants then and it won't be too bad. But otherwise you'd say sit it out till you're better? I think you'll have trouble just getting the flue out of your chimney, and it's going to be really large and uncontrollable in freefall. Plus, there would be soot flying out everywhere and it would make a mess of both the plane and yourself. I recommend you let a professional handle it - call a chimney sweep. kwarthen 0 #8 August 16, 2006 You're right, it's not good. The effects are you will spread it to others on the plane. Stay home. Why would you want to give your disease to everybody else?
