Effects of a cold/flue

Recommended Posts

Try it and you'll find out! Severe pain - the blockage prevents the pressure in your ears from equalising causing agony.

The effects can be pretty severe, such as perforating your eardrum.

I have got away with it with mildy blocked ears/nose with only minor discomfort. If I have any symptoms I take decongestants, but if it's bad I don't jump.

Ah, ok, so if you have mild symptoms you can take decongestants then and it won't be too bad. But otherwise you'd say sit it out till you're better?
Anton.
I may be drunk Miss, but in the morning I will be sober - whereas you will still be ugly

Can anyone tell me please what the effects are of jumping with a cold or even flue symptoms? I understand its not good right?

Correct. I think you'll have trouble just getting the flue out of your chimney, and it's going to be really large and uncontrollable in freefall. Plus, there would be soot flying out everywhere and it would make a mess of both the plane and yourself. I recommend you let a professional handle it - call a chimney sweep.
