According to this: http://www.worldmeet2006.com/scores/freefly.htm The jumping part of the meet has ended. I believe FAI rules require at least one round for competition, so what they did so far is the final results. My congrats to Luca, Paul and Manu (Italy) for bronze. Too bad about the weather... Feeblemind 1 #6 August 11, 2006 What a bummer, the RW 4-way teams get 5 rounds with twice as many teams and as we know 5 jumpers per teamand the freeflyers only get 3 rounds with 3 per team. I am sure they have their reasons, but did the freeflyers even get to their speed rounds? Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked
brianfry713 0 #7 August 11, 2006 I think crappy weather cancelled the rest of the rounds. They probably did one speed round if the followed the normal format: F - C - F - F - C - F - F ( C = Compulsory Routine, F = Free Routine) http://www.fai.org/parachuting/documents/sportingcode2006

I am sure they have their reasons,...... You have the answer in front of you. They made decisions that benefited the most jumpers. From what I heard the weather pretty much sucked for most of the meet. There were a bunch of rejumps. If you can predict the weather and determine exactly how many loads and passes you can get out during a given sucker hole, then by all means sign up to be a meet director. ..
