Newbie 0 #1 June 13, 2006 Is it possible to sneeze in freefall? Does anyone know if anyone has done it? "Skydiving is a door" Happythoughts
ltdiver 3 #2 June 13, 2006 Yep, and thankfully I wear an open face helmet. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
bivar 0 #3 June 13, 2006 Yes, I have sneezed in freefall , and trust me, it was not a prety sight. The "stuff" that came out froze on my goggles. NWFlyer 2 #5 June 13, 2006 I don't think I've sneezed but there was this one two-way jump when I had a faceful of snot as soon as I got under canopy and had to ask my jumping buddy whether he'd seen the snot flapping all over my face in freefall. JohnRich 4 #6 June 13, 2006 I can't recall ever sneezing. But I've gotten whacked in the face and received a bloody nose a couple of times. Now that makes one hell of a mess in freefall. Your goggles can turn so red that you can't see through them...
darkwing 5 #7 June 13, 2006 No, but I threw up at 40ft on a scuba dive. The fish loved it. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
FallnAngel 0 #8 June 14, 2006 It wasn't me, but a friend of mine. We were doing a 3-way belly, he was at the tail end of a cold, and he sneezed in freefall. Talk about gross! He was wearing a half-shell Protec and the snot instantly dried all over his face. His new nickname for the rest of the summer was "glaze", as in a 3-day old glazed donut which he bore a remarkable resemblence to when we landed.
