My First Night Jump is coming

So on Monday I have my first night jump, do you have any suggestions on night jumps, please let me know them so I do not screw this one up.:P

Learn what the shadow is... you can't avoid it so don't turn away from it.

The shadow belongs to you. If you turn to avoid, it will meet you on the ground at high speed.

You'll be briefed but definately remember that one.

i wouldnt "over think it." if your landings are good, just land the way you always do. remember though, it can seem a bit different coming in at night...go play catch football in the dark, and you get the idea.

Night jumps are a lot of fun. It is normal to be tense on your first one and you should be a little uptight. Try to relax, be calm, jump the correct gear. Plan out what your going to do, listen closely to the briefing and talk to others who have done this.

If you have the right set up and you took the time to figure things out, it's a piece of cake.

You should be well briefed before the jumps, listen and pay attention. You are gonna love it or hate it.

And one more thing, remember your parachute thingey…
