timmybuddhadude 0 #1 December 13, 2005 ok guys, here is a repeat of question posted ealier, WHICH I can delete if necessary. I expanded on long conversation before: Can anyone offer/beat Skydive Aukland 200 jump package..sport coachinG through aff, where you can drop 'out' and they will refund anything after Aff if you do not manage to reach/ go through to the whole 200 jump package (including camera training etc)..and work it out mathematically as $30 each jump..ie you pay a bulk* fee of 3600uk approx.. and they refund what you don't use. This is recommended and what I want 2 do.. Does anyone else/ ANY D.Z IN THE WORLD offer* the same deal? Let me know.. for the same price.. ie the states/uk/Brazil/Fiji..English speaking. If I have nothing to compare from anyone else, Mercer Airfield Aukland is what* will be done, this Summer! This is the last request* for advice before I book the flight and arrive there with 4000uk ! For full sport-jump training with own chute now after tandem/statics..whole hog. request from uk
papax17 0 #2 December 13, 2005 I read a post on here a while ago about a DZ(europe?) that sold a bulk package to a RW (could be wrong) team. In the end he owner of the DZ screwed them and skipped town with their money, leaving them short thousands. I am not exactly the best person to ask but I am sure you asked at the right place. Make sure you do all your homework when it comes to this DZ. Thats really all the advice I can give you. best of luck
bob.dino 1 #3 December 13, 2005 Jesus dude. You really need to learn to slow down and write more coherently. It's really hard to figure out what you're saying. That said, I think you're asking about the 200-jumps-degree in Mercer, NZ? There's been some discussion on it here. Use the 'Search Posts' link near the top of this page to root out some more info. All the best.
Silverchic 0 #4 December 13, 2005 If it's Skydive Auckland I would just like to say I have heard nothing but good things about them. I have also talked to them because we are planning a trip to NZ in Feb and they sound like really great people! My 2c for the day...How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?
Mr17Hz 1 #5 December 13, 2005 At Skydive Chicago, you can buy a 100 jump package for $1,700 and that locks in your rate at $17/jump. Instead of AFF, they do AFP, which is an 18 jump program, you can purchase all 18 coached + video jumps for $1,800. So if you price out your 18 AFP jumps plus 182 jumps at $17 each ($3,049) that leaves you at a grand total of $4,894 for your first 200 jumps, or an average of $24.47. However, the deadline for the $1,700 package is soon, if it hasn't already past, so I would give them a call at 1-815-433-0000 to find out for sure. They will give you a refund if you don't use the jumps, however they will change the rate of all previous jumps to the normal price of $23 each if you don't use up your first 100 in the year. Also, they've just closed for the season, I think they open up again mid-march.Matt Christenson mattchristenson@realskydiving.com http://www.RealDropzone.com - A new breed of dropzone manifest software. Scrumpot 1 #7 December 13, 2005 Many dropzones offer a reduced price package if you are buying jump tickets in 100 jump lots or more. What exactly is it here (for discussion) you are looking for? As far as travelling to NZ to take advantage of some 200 jump "package", I suppose that would all depend on if you have the time there to spend/concentrate on that many jumps in the first place. Then, if the cost offset of the travel, lodging, meals, etc. etc. still in the final analysis made all that worth it for you. Check around with nearly ANY dropzone you may be interested in, and just ask that's all. Good luck mate, whatever YOU decide!
