Scrumpot 1 #26 December 7, 2005 Thanks for the "advice" but, what part of already in my original post: QuoteAn "extension" is not an option due to my current bag/bridal manufacture combination. Did you apparently not understand? Trust me my "young" friend, all equipment is not the same, and I DO know the difference. So Beezy, if you get back on/when you get the chance... any concerns over pulling instead some of the topskin as a result, also out to the side in doing this at its attachment point, if I decide I would like to go back to using this packing method with my current and unaltered/un-alter-able (without a complete d-bag and bridal system change) set up? Thanks in advance. Blues, -Grantcoitus non circum - Moab Stone
grue 1 #27 December 7, 2005 My bad, I just woke up from a nap, and only skimmed. Just out of curiosity, what makes the extension a no-go?cavete terrae.
Scrumpot 1 #28 December 7, 2005 The bridal and d-bag itself is a single component (unit) via being sewed, part-n-parcel to the inside of the bag, rather being either a "spacer-ring" or 2-grommet system. I suppose it is POSSIBLE still to "convert it" to a ringed system via an extension with a ring affixed on one side (like is atop of the canopy) and open reinforced bridal loop on the other (to attach to the canopy as the current bridal and bag are now), but that is not a "typical" modification, and would require more custom work than is standard, or I care to do for just this is all. Sorry if I came off sarcastic in my above reply too, BTW. - My bad! Blues, -Grantcoitus non circum - Moab Stone
