Dumpster 0 #1 December 16, 2004 OK - I've been laid up since November 13 with a broken ankle. Since I'm done working on college stuff now, (whole 'nuther story) I just started thinking about skydiving goals for next year. My tenative list - Not hard and fast, just what I'd like to accomplish, in no particular order. -Finish healing and get back in the air. -Take Scott Miller's canopy course. (This has been on my list the last two years, now it's time I make it a higher priority.) -Go to Orlando for an hour or so in the tunnel and visit Z-hills. -Compete in the MWSL 4-way league. (I've already gotten invites to join teams!) -Coach newbies like crazy. -Earn Static line and/or AFF ratings. -Make at least 200 jumps. -Attend at least 1 "big" boogie. If I get half of this done, I'll consider it a good year. So what are YOU planning for next year? Easy Does It

ZoneRat 0 #11 December 16, 2004 I've had to cut back on some of my goals just 'cause a money. Goals I won't get to achieve are: • Forming a CReW rot' team for nats. (SDD has never sent a team to nats in CReW). • Texas State Record Goals I can achieve: • Flying video and coaching a rookie 4-way team (attached) • Organizing an informal 1-day "boogie" thingy like this one from last year: Just Fer Us • There's this cute brunette...“There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophies.”

VampireGirl 0 #24 December 16, 2004 - Do another canopy control course, and learn how to fly my canopy, learn its limitations and try not to have too many limitations myself. Hopefully by the end of it i'll be able to: - Land on my feet in a nil wind landing and for it not to hurt!! - Get my cat 10, after doing some tunnel time. - Learn how to fly my long skinny body fast!!! And not to have to wear weight, or if I HAVE TO wear weight, to get used to it. - Do my 100th jump NAKED!! - Do another 100 jumps and spend two months of the summer bumming around a DZ in Spain somewhere, brushing up on my Spanish and my skydiving skills. - Jump with as many different people as possible, = HAVE LOADS OF FUN!!! - Get my B liscence. - Encourage people not to give up when they are despondant, as I have had that feeling (and may go through it again next year, but I do not intend on giving up!!)
