mdowling 0 #1 October 26, 2005 http://www.xperiencedays.com/ Need to know immediately if this is a skyride affiliated site. This site is about to get some publicity from a rather large newspaper I work for and I want to make sure it's legit. It's being promoted as a NJ-owned company. For those more tech-savy at tracking down ownership of websites, please advise. Thanks.
pilotdave 0 #2 October 26, 2005 Doesn't look like it to me. Site is registered to someone in NJ. And they advertise jumping (at a specific location) for $199. Doesn't fit the MO... or they're getting smart. Dave
marks 0 #3 October 26, 2005 that isnt the typical wbsite design by them, but if i was them i would be changing my design. so it might be, just because of what they are offering. but thats all the connection i can make for ya.

bob.dino 1 #7 October 26, 2005 That's because they're hosting with MaximumASP, a fairly big organisation. Having four websites on one server is no big deal... In general, they don't state the names of their suppliers (probably to prevent you going directly to them), so that wouldn't bother me. Easiest way to get a definitive answer: call CrossKeys and see if they work with Xperience Days...
kelpdiver 2 #8 October 26, 2005 the georgia connection is hard to gloss over. If it's not Skyride, it's Skyride like. Small red flags on the Monterey tandem. At 199, the price would be right, but it says "2 miles about the monterey penisula." They will take people to limited altitude for $150, but the normal price gets you 15k. Either a typo, or their profit.
tombuch 0 #9 October 26, 2005 It doesn't look evil to me. As others have said, the domain name checks out, and the service looks real. I saw a news release for another company called Excitations doing the same thing in the local Washington market at: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/051024/245316.html?.v=1. Both companies seem to be legitimate packagers that resell the services of adventure providers. .Tom Buchanan Instructor Emeritus Comm Pilot MSEL,G Author: JUMP! RhondaLea 4 #10 October 26, 2005 Google says that this is an marketing website that sells adventure sport gift packages. Doesn't look like it's related to SkyRide at all. Someone else had the best advice: call CrossKeys and ask. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from.
