Which to get?

Recommended Posts

I've been thinking and going back and forth about what to get... I could get a good deal on a second rig which I could or should I purchase a base rig since I hope to get to do a FJC next yr.. Thoughts, opinions?

edit* I should add that in no way did i mention that any of these items I'm considering would be new. Its a possiblility that they could be new or used.

Depends on how much money you have...

Well i would say $ is no factor, but then everyone would choose 'both'. Let's just be reasonable, and say that this would in no way cut down on the number of jumps I would or could do in a season, except for maybe getting both. FYI the second rig would be nice for my wingsuit, another canopy to fly, etc.

I would try BASE jumping first before you buy a rig. What if you don't like it? I know a couple of people that bought brand new BASE gear, went up and jumped it and said never again.

On the bright side. There is some lightly used BASE gear for sale now. ;)

What kind of rig are you considering?

Why get a BASE rig now...for next year?

I never said I would purchase it now. That would involve waiting a little for the most part.
