Pitbull83 0 #1 September 24, 2005 Aloha everyone, I'm a big film buff. As a surfer, I became a huge fan of entertaining surf films, like "Riding Giants," and "Blue Horizon." As a skydiver in-training, I was curious if there are any good skydiving films out there that come highly recommended? Not instructional stuff, but more documentery-style movies. damion75 0 #8 September 26, 2005 Everyone seems to have missed out the best skydiving movie of them all... Cutaway! Can't think why... Alec Baldwin... what an actor!*************** Not one shred of evidence supports the theory that life is serious - look at the platypus.

I got a new VHS copy of Cutaway for less than the cost of a blank VHS tape, whereas my Point Break DVD cost me $4.50 (I was robbed on that one).... gemini 0 #13 September 27, 2005 How about the Gypsey Moths with Burt Lancaster, Deborah Kerr, Gene Hackman, William Windom, Bonnie Bedelia, Sheree North and directed by John Franken heimer? Not bad for a 1969 film although the sound effects suck. Blue skies, Jim

On th esame site, there ia also a video taken from the show Max X that shows a guy on his first AFF jump where his main fails. After a short out of control free fall hi sinstructor pulls his reserve. Just when he thinks its over, the poor guy smacks into a bunch of power lines. Ouch. Grendel Khan-The Official DZ.Com Newbie Forum Nuisance "They sicken of the calm, that know the storm."
