Wender 0 #1 September 19, 2005 I just jumped for the first time today, what a thrill. I hate New England, now I gotta wait till it's nice out again in March to take lessons and get my license. I did love it tho.

morningdove831 0 #3 September 19, 2005 Congrats!! I, too, have just started jumping. What method are you going to learn by? I'm learning by static line and I love it. I hate that you have to wait all winter to start, but just think how much more you'll appreciate that next jump. tdog 0 #5 September 19, 2005 Or, you can visit a "winter" DZ like Perris, Eloy, any of the Florida DZs, or even our Colorado DZ... I did my first AFF jump last October and learned thru the winter. Except for two weekends around Christmas, we fly all winter long. Learning in the winter ain't that bad, because when summer comes you will be ready to make new friends and skydive with them as a licenced jumper.
