Work for South African TI (strong)
wanted to find out if there are DZ"S that will hire south african TI"s and camera persons. What will be needed from applicants.

I would be willing to bet that South Africans are the best represented of all non-US citizens working in the states. I can't comment for all the dropzones but I have seen people from SA working all along the East Coast. As long as you are qualified and can get the appropriate rating from USPA you should be able to find a position in just about any state you wish to work.

Just remember that gravity works differently in the Northern Hemisphere, so you'll have to be re-trained once you get here. The toilets swirling the wrong way are also very disorienting - hell, even more than jet lag. Jumpers from Oz have the same problem.

It depends largely on where you want to work as well.
I was looking to go over and pack last year and i contacted a lot of the larger dropzones and unfortunately they all have to ask for work permits.
The smaller ones don't tend to be so sticky about us going over and working while on holiday Visas.
