wildcard451 0 #6 June 23, 2005 2 years and 3 months. Then had 2 within 4 jumps. Yeeeeeehaw. Jump 287 - Canopy Wrap Jump 290 - Two out on a demo rig Still waiting for my rig to finish getting repacked so I can get back in the air.
Zep 0 #7 June 23, 2005 3153 jumps no mals, Still waiting CRW = 3 cutaways From my point of view a wrap is a whole lot scarier than a mal. Gone fishing

JayCam 0 #11 June 23, 2005 Well I TRIED to get a reserve ride yesterday on jump number nine but main canopy was so twisted it would cutaway. See "first really bad experience" thread lol... I think I must have the record for "attempted cutaway in fewest jumps". Does massive line twists count as a mal? J

It was in November and it was the last jump I did that year (weather). Next jump was in April or so, couldn't wait to get back in the air.
 John4455 0 #16 June 23, 2005 As soon as I made my 500th jump I wanted my tandem rating. I had never had a cutaway so I rented the rig and did and intentional breakaway on the proper 3 canopy system like you were supposed to do. (about 4 years in the sport) About 50 jumps later I had a real malfunction, a line over. Probably 200 jumps later I had a bag lock. Last fall I had my first tandem cut away, a tension knot with the slider up. How do ya like it Johnny?
