Where's your first jump certificate?

Recommended Posts

I myself never received a FJC certificate but I have my original 4 place logpage inserted in the front of my first permanent logbook. I'm proud of it and show it off to whomever wishes to see it.

It's on the "wall of me" in my apartment. I have all my certificates, awards, and a bunch of 8X10s hanging up. :)

I still have the certificate in a file. I have never sent in a single award. I have a bunch of completed applications, but no awards. meh...

Ahem. When I made my first jump (off a cloud -- pterodactyls hadn't evolved yet ) they had first jump certificates. However, I chose not to get one -- I could choose between a certificate and a logbook. Since I planned on continuing, I took the logbook.

Hell I never got one.. and no one else got one there either...Homestead was a bit primitive at the time. I did get some little log boog thingie. I never even got an A or B license.. they just had a checklist of stuff you had to complete. I think the 4 way with about 15 jumps was fun;)

And I got like 60 jumps on a terrordactyl;)

No freakin way I would jump one of those notw..well maybe into the water...but it would be a hell of a splash.

I have attached mine.

Mine was in a drawer in my living room, just saw it Thursday while looking for something else. I should frame and hang it!

The instructor's name is missing though, it was Jim Hooper. Yes, that's July 1, 1973....
