Newbie 0 #1 June 28, 2005 Anyone seen this? It seems kind of an odd record to break but whatever floats your boat i guess. I wonder if food tastes "less" due to thinner atmosphere up there? Not sure how they will eat with masks on either, but i'm sure we will see some coverage in the news tomorrow. http://www.champagnemummaltitudechallenge.com/main.htm "Skydiving is a door" Happythoughts

I imagine that's what they'll do, but I recall how taking it off for just a few seconds to don the helmet had quite an effect. Unless they eat very slowly, they'd be off the gas half of the time. Maybe tubes into the nose? Record itself seems silly, as well as fact they'll only break it by 50ft.

hottamaly 1 #9 July 1, 2005 Has anyone heard if they got the record or not, yesterday? Their web site says nothing so I'm guessing it either didn't go or didn't break the record.
