flifree 0 #1 May 28, 2005 i have no desire to get in to video or stills, but have always wondered how people are able to rig a camera....on the leg or foot i deduce from the angle....for those shots. i have seen some spectacular looking photos on the icarus site for the crossfire 2. how is it done? cocheese 0 #2 May 28, 2005 You mean you haven't done a high pull with a disposable camera yet ? Hell i used to wind up the little bastards in freefall.

cocheese 0 #4 May 28, 2005 I've seen a funky foot bracket before. Landing was interesting for the canopy pilot. Need remote shutter release with a long cord i guess.edit: or a remote control. Is that Steve Utter ? he holds a huge still cam in his hand while taking amazing pics of you while he is flying head down. diablopilot 2 #5 May 28, 2005 See the remote in his hand? It not too hard to build a foot mount for a camera.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

DanglesOZQld 0 #7 May 29, 2005 Seen a lot of different methods used to get the angles and pics required ; basically the skies the limit with almost any angle and view as long as it does not impair the operation of the "real" gear that saves our sorry asses from impacting the ground at a higher than wanted speed lol! peek 21 #8 May 29, 2005 It can also be as simple as a disposable camera duct taped to your foot and operated with the toe from your other bare foot.

I don't think you could use a disposible... how would you wind it up with your toe? I think you could use a really cheap auto camera though, and press the button each time with your toe.
