adamUK 3 #1 April 12, 2005 This is going to be so good. It's my 100th jump this weekend and my brother is going to do a tandem (I got it for him for his Xmas present) so he and i are going to be on the same load. Plus my parents (who don't mind me jumping) and my brothers kids (who really dig that I jump) and my brother's wife (who's insisting that she's not going to watch!) are all going to be there! Any top tips for winding up one's elder sibling?? Actually I don't think he's nervous but his wife is!! Cheers! Adam.
ChrisL 2 #2 April 12, 2005 Dont get all wrapped up in having your family and friends watching you and get yourself hurt. They can be a big distraction as you are so aware that they are all watching you __ My mighty steed

adamUK 3 #4 April 12, 2005 Yes! I will probably end up landing off or something . I am looking forward to having my brother on the plane on the way up and experience what I love doing so much.
adamUK 3 #5 April 12, 2005 Chroist! I actually think Chris *is* going to be the TI. Luckily my brother doens't go "Baa" so as long as I keep Chris from the pickled eggs and pull-up cords, he should be okay.
Jeth 0 #6 April 12, 2005 QuoteYes! I will probably end up landing off or something . Dude, that may happen! It happened to soarfree last year - her mom was at the dz for the first time, and she ended up landing 6 miles out!! Try to get a good spot, no need to give the family extra worries. I hope its a blast! My family will be watching me in July! "At 13,000 feet nothing else matters." PFRX!!!!! Guest #7 April 13, 2005 Quote and she ended up landing 6 miles out!! OMFG! How does that happen? Did she find a "large, open area" to land in? You can have it good, fast, or cheap: pick two.

It was just a bad spot by the pilot, the whole load landed off. It was the first load of the day so they were human wind-drift indicators. "At 13,000 feet nothing else matters." PFRX!!!!!
