mr2mk1g 10 #1 March 4, 2005 I'm renewing my USPA membership. What's the difference between "Dues (includes standard magazine delivery)" and "Optional upgraded magazine delivery"? There's helpfully no explanation of the difference anywhere in the paperwork I've been sent. Cheers.
davidlayne 5 #2 March 4, 2005 It means they send the magazine first class mail. That way you can be first on the D.Z. to read it.I don't care how many skydives you've got, until you stepped into complete darkness at 800' wearing 95 lbs of equipment and 42 lbs of parachute, son you are still a leg! jjiimmyyt 0 #4 March 4, 2005 I get the standard delivery. Fron the plastic envelope it looks like they are bulk shipped to the UK and the sent on from there. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave

nbblood 0 #13 March 9, 2005 Speed of delivery is kind of trivial between standard and first class. First Class, however, if you move, will be forwarded to your new address. Standard delivery will not. Of course, this very minor point can be solved by contacting USPA and ensuring they have your current address. The bottom line: I don't think the upgraded delivery is worth the price. Just my 2 cents. Blues, NathanBlues, Nathan If you wait 'til the last minute, it'll only take a minute. FrogNog 1 #14 March 9, 2005 QuoteQuote nope. No wrapper Yup Same Same here.. and torn... You have a bad mailman and should probably move. I'm less than 30 miles away and my unwrapped Parachutist magazines arrive in the mail in beautiful condition. (Of course, no telling what time of the month they will arrive.) -=-=-=-=- Pull.
