sleeve 0 #1 February 18, 2005 We are looking for information on how to install an faa acceptable static line connection point in a c 182. We are aware that seat belt connection points are acceptable, bur wonder if there are other permanent airframe connection points in use? Sleeve

It's been done and they lost the seat as it was yanked out of the plane.Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125
AggieDave 6 #3 February 18, 2005 If I can remember, I'll take a picture of the attatchment ring in our 182 this weekend and post a pic. It looks kind of like a bull ring secured to the floor in some manner, but I can't remember the specifics. I know that it was installed before we bought the plane, but it was installed properly and signed off properly in the log, though. Its attatched to the floor just to the rear of the fuel selector switch between where the two back of the front seats would be. This is on a '56 narrow body, so I'm not sure how the layout may be different in a newer widebody.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #7 February 20, 2005 Ok, I'm sorry but I didn't get the picture, I had planned on doing it today and low and behold I'm very very sick. I'll see what I can do later this week.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
