scottjaco 0 #1 January 17, 2005 I would like to give an open apology to Skydive Taft, CA. About a year ago, I stopped jumping there and later responded to a thread on DZ.com where I expressed several grievances I had with the dropzone. I believe that posting these grievances online was a bad decision. It was nobody’s business except the parties involved. I contacted the DZ owner today and we discussed the issues that we had with each other. This is something I had wanted to do for some time. We both had a lot to say to each other. I hope we can resolve these issues in the near future and develop a mutual respect for each other’s feelings. I plan on visiting this dropzone tomorrow in hopes of making things better. Thanks for reading this. Sincerely, Scott Jaco
Brian425 0 #2 January 17, 2005 Don't know what the problem was and don't want to know. I respect you for making a public apology. That is always the first step. Now hopefully you guys work it out. mjosparky 4 #3 January 18, 2005 Scott, We all make mistakes, but few of us have the balls to admit it on an open forum. Good on you and I hope you and Dave can work it out. I might see you there at the end of the month. You know "Air Trash" road trip. SparkyMy idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
flyangel2 2 #4 January 18, 2005 Wow! Very impressive. People that can admit when they are wrong. Good for you. I hope things work out.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. SLOfreefall 0 #5 January 19, 2005 Would you be making this public apology if they were not flying Mullin's KingAir, and a PAC-720?

SLOfreefall 0 #7 January 19, 2005 You know, I was pretty sure it was a 750 until I received their message announcing the arrival of the 720. They're both bigger numbers than 172...
bob.dino 1 #8 January 19, 2005 Y'know, given that PAC don't make an aircraft called the 720, I'd guess that it was a typo .
jumperconway 0 #9 January 19, 2005 Brass balls on making the ap. Next time think before you post! When I had 300 jumps and was not accepted on a demo type jump weekend I wanted to post all that I felt about the situation. I slept on it instead and never posted anything even though there were many on the jumps in agreement. I bit my tongue and payed my dues. I am now welcome on all that I would have shot myself in the foot over. Good luck. I remember reading your posts without the specifics.
