My name is Dusty Smith I work at Skydive AZ. I had a rig sent to Finland for this guy to buy and he did not send me my money. I thought it was in my account when I sent it but it was not. It has been about 6 months and this guy keeps e-mailing me saying he is going to pay it. Bullshit! So I need some help from the community and people that know me. The rig was a Mirage G3 I used to jump when I was on Elsinore Eclipse-Purple and Yellow and has the logo on the mud flap. So anyone in finland or that knows this guy help me out . His name is

Where did you find the insurance? Part of your home/renter policy?

Mine is insured under a personal property policy through State Farm.

Not true, a personal article policy is an "all" peril type
which means, if I lose it, os even misplace it. Even if
my cypress gets wet and ruined. ANYthing other than
intentional is covered. The above is considered theft

Exactly right... We had a employee take the keys to a company car and take it out of state. The police had to recover it, and he was arrested - but since he was an employee at the time and we willfully gave him access to the keys - the insurance said, "sorry" and would not repair the damage unless we could prove it was caused by an accident with another object... But since the engine was damaged, it was not an accident.

Insurance companies like to collect premiumsyou file a claim then they start telling you about the fine print. Lesson learned read the fine print befor you file your claim so you use the correct buzz words.

Lying is bad but you only have to answer the questions they ask, the less said the better

The issue here is a person that has promised to pay Dusty for the rig hasn't done so.
Skydiving is a small community. Dusty is well known in this sport and the rig in question is very recognizable. The buyer may want to think on that.
Dusty acted in good faith (right or wrong) trusting that people in this sport are as good as their word.
Lesson learned...yes, but it still doesnt negate the fact that this person still owes for the rig.
