AndyMan 7 #60 November 29, 2004 52 miles to Chicagoland Skydiving Center. Under an hour unless it's rushour, then it can be 2 hours plus. 88 miles to Skydive Chicago, 90 minutes if its good, over 3 hours if its bad. This is largely why I haven't been to Skydive Chicago all year... _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
Snowbird 0 #61 November 30, 2004 25 minutes if I walk - 20 if the gate is open and I can cut across the airport. 10 minutes on my bike. 3 minutes in the car. From my backyard I can watch everything except people landing. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. op5e 0 #65 December 1, 2004 Canberra to nowra. 3 hours if i dont stop. 3 and a half if i get breakfast and fuel and stuff. Of course if i do the dirt track it can take 2 and a half, but of course i would use a rental car for this. Mind you it is one of the most fun bike rides i have been on going up and down kangaroo valley. 210km one way. Normally 420+ km per weekend. My bike is clocking up the milage but I did buy it for the sole reason so i had a way to get to the dropzone.

slug 1 #75 December 4, 2004 QuoteWe live 15 minutes away from the DZ at Kapowsin. On marginal days, I can hang around the house getting stuff done, and still be on call for tandems, etc. If the weather clears, my wife and I grab the rigs, the kids, and go. Pretty cool, huh?
