How do you like to exit?

How do you like to exit from what ever plane?

I have only side door jumped while sport jumping. From both a Caravan & PAC 750, I like diving exits the best. Allows me to practice unstable exits very well. ;)

Out of the Otter / Caravan I like the diving exits best also, but I have found that they are some of my most stable exits..

I love walking a tandem student off the back of a tailgate airplane. Its such a smooth and fluid exit, its super stable, while in a nice arch it rolls us in nearly a full flip putting the pair perfectly in the relative wind on the hill for the drogue toss.

Its very fun.B|

S/L at 800' over water (or land) - ramp
MFF with equipment: Diving off the ramp
8 way - On Point (ok, the 20 sec. climbout is kind of long) on rear it's really long....
4 way - IC
Tandem - Poised at least 45 to the relative wind
AFF - Depends on the level...

Hi Bob,
From First Class in a DC-3 with about 30 people between me and the door....someone says,"Ready, Set,Go!!!!!" and the caterpillar of people begins to move!! By the time I get to going, I'm in a sprint for the door, it's down the hall, turn right, out the door, and D-I-V-E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got that?

Stepping off the camera step into a track for a tracking dive with the rabbit just slightly ahead and below. Its smooth and is a cool visual.

At WFFC SM1 showed me how to gainer out of the skyvan in a wing suit, now that's fun!

Also two/four way flowers off the tail gate are super cool.

And i still love the camera step on the otter for tracking dives B|

Tailgate for RW: last out or super float
Tailgate in a wingsuit: linked gainer or poised and flying over the tail
Cessna for fun: bat hang
Cessna for AFF: inside
Cessna for 4-way: in the crotch
Otter for 4-way: point
Otter for bigway:last out or super-front float
Otter for AFF: either, but I get stuck with "inside" more times than not
Otter for wingsuit: rear or last out
DC3: last out or rear float

King Air: nowhere...I hate King Air exits and just strive to get out the door without bashing myself on the something. They are the absolute worst thing to jump in a wingsuit. For AFF I am always on the inside in a King Air.

Cessna - Backflips off the step.
Otter - any type.
Casa or Skyvan - facing aft backflip.
KingAirs - diving.

If ya like unstable exits - take an odd-number of folks up on a meat missile dive - the whole dive will be unstable. :D
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Same here. I can't stand King Airs. Atleast that Beech 99 we had for a while had a door the size of an Otter, that made life livable, but with KingAirs, I always climb outside and suck it up in the prop blast, since I hit my head/shoulder/get stuck trying to dive out most of the time.

This sounds like so much fun! OK, jumping the DC-3 at Eloy is now on my to do list!

My favorite exit to date was a two-way tracking exit out of the Grand Caravan. We were last out and my friend got the pilot to dive in front of us. It was awesome.

I want to do that again! HINT, HINT...
