321seeya 0 #1 August 29, 2004 While at dinner tonight with a business associate and his wife, the topic of skydiving cameup. The individual tried to win brownie points by pointing out that hee too skydives - (He made 1 tandem 2 1/2 years ago) While telling me about his stellar experience, he made note of the "Piece of Shit Airplane" that the DZ was using. I asked what the issue was with the plane, and he went on to inform me that the plane was about seven different colors - (not painted 7 different colors, but pieced together like parts from a 3-D jigsaw puzzled) - He added. The scariest thing about the jump was worrying if we were going to make it all the way to altitude...I just smiled, and asked him..."So you made your jump at Lake Wales hun?" He replied Yeah...How did you know? Thanks Betty, for all of the good memories, and all of the good times to come! BASE 3:16 - Even if you are about to land on a cop - DONT FORGET TO FLARE! eUrNiCc 0 #6 August 30, 2004 I jumped Frankenotter 8 times this weekend, it's one hell of an airplane! It's got a red rudder on it now since the white one is being repaired, so it's back to its old mismatching ways!Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age. Reginald 0 #7 August 30, 2004 Quote Q: How do you know a skydiver when you see one? A: He'll tell you. LOL! So true. There was this one time at skydiving camp..."We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. We're surrounded. That simplifies things."
