can you skydive anywhere?

Can you make a skydive out of an airplane from anywhere or does it have to be at a dropzone?

If my friend had an airplane, could I jump out of it anywhere I wanted?

Long answer short, as long as you have the permission of the land owner and have notified the airtraffic facility in charge of the airspace above it properly, then the answer is probably yes.

For instance, take a look at this story I wrote a few years ago. While it's fiction, it would be legally possible to do this.

I jump from my ultralight in my city but my brother doesnt have licence they can take away from him.
Anyway you need to have permision from the land owner and inform air traffic.
